Margaret Scheid

Margaret Scheid passed away on November 2, 2022, she was 89 years young. She is survived by 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Margaret was born in Hibbing Minnesota and grew up in Douglas Az. where she met her husband, Harry. They lived in Mesa for the last 55 years. She had a passion for cooking and sewing. She was known for her Mexican food, Sunday dinners, and feeding anyone that was in the house, so no one left hungry. Margaret sewed our shirts and dresses as we grew up. She then moved on to sewing quilts and completed 100 or more for her family and friends. Margaret loved to travel and go camping. She traveled across the country twice towing a trailer and drove to Alaska and back. Our mother and father built the Mogollon Trailer Park in Forest Lakes, AZ utilizing all five children and friends as summer help. She taught her kids to catch minnows in dad's straw hat in the creek and how to take a bath in a bucket. One summer she had the patience to teach us and our friends how to play bridge and pinochle. Margaret enjoyed entertaining her Grandchildren with tea parties complete with whip cream and building tents in the house. She also entertained them with puzzles and stories of her childhood. A Celebration of life will be held at Meldrum's Mortuary on Feb. 3rd, 2023. The time will be announced at a later date. Events Details are pending.
