Abe Ernest Hodes, age 78, died February 28, 2015 in Las Vegas. Abe was born April 1, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Aaron and Pearl (Greenfield) Hodes. He worked in many different fields during his career, including shoe sales and in freight shipping. Abe was a big sports fan and always rooted for his home teams the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He is survived by his wife of 14 years Priscilla Schwartz-Hodes; sisters Sandra Lieber of Mc Henry, IL and Jo Wilkey of Island Lake, IL; and is preceded in death by brother Dennis Hodes. A funeral service will be held in Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice (www.nah.org). .
