Ada Dorothy Lanoue
December 5th, 1932 - April 16th, 2021
Ada Dorothy Lanoue, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Wuesthoff Stewart Hospice House in Rockledge, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lanoue, daughters, Kathleen Nail and Debra Lanoue. She was born December 5, 1932, in Liverpool, England, to Herbert and Doris Whitehead. She married Robert Victor Lanoue on August 11, 1951, in Southport, England. She had a love for telling jokes and making people laugh, and would always make sure that others were taken care of before herself. She also had a love for Jesus. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lippiatte; her son, Daniel Lanoue; her five Grandchildren, Matthew Lippiatte, Robert Nail, Michelle Nail, Melissa Mendenhall and Melody Alicea; and seven great-grandchildren, Timothy Nail, Kaelyn Nail, Jasmine Alicea, Benjamin Alicea, Natalie Alicea, Conor Nail and Dylan Nail. Family, friends, and others whose lives Ada touched are invited to the CAPE CANAVERAL NATIONAL CEMETARY, 5525 US-1 North, Mims, Florida, 32754 on Thursday, May 13, 2021 starting at 12:30 PM to remember Ada’s life and pay our last respects. The family is requesting that you please wear blue in honor of Ada. There will also be a small gathering at the clubhouse, located at FOREST LAKES, 113 Rosewood Drive, Cocoa, Florida, 32926 to follow the cemetery gathering starting at 2 PM and will end around 4 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital. https://www.stjude.org/donate
