Adela Romero

Adela Romero passed away January 6, 2018, of natural causes at the age of 72 in Sacramento, CA. She was born December 2, 1945, in El Paso, Texas; she lived the last 40 years in Northern California. She was also a long time employee of Mervyn's Department Store in Marysville, CA. A big fan of The Beatles, she was also a Tejana at heart. A sweet and loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Maria Barreras, her brothers, Trinidad and Manuel Barreras, and her son, Manny Romero. She is survived by her loving children, Laura Romero, Tony Romero, Jr., John Paul Romero, and Priscilla Romero Moreno; her brother, Julian Barreras and sister, Rosa Barreras, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City, followed by burial at Sutter Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
