Adeline Fish Molthan

January 23rd, 1917 - April 22nd, 2013

Adeline Fish Molthan, longtime resident of Ironside, Oregon, died April 22, 2013, at her home in Nampa, Idaho, Adeline was born in Curry County, Oregon, the only child of Fred and Echo Fish. She lived in various sawmill sites, the last being in Ironside, Oregon, where she met and married rancher John Molthan, a loving union that lasted 67 years. Adeline will be remembered for her beautiful flower gardens and her love of crocheting and crafting. Many neighbors including John and Adeline were instrumental in the formation of the Ironside Cemetery District. She was a long time member of the Vale Eastern Star Lodge. Adeline in survived by daughter Carolyn of Nampa, Idaho, a son John Jr. (Bill) and wife Theresa of Lakeview, Oregon, daughter JoAn and husband Alex of Nampa, Idaho, Granddaughters Melissa of Arlington, Washington, Katie and husband Glenn of Auburn, Washington, and Penny and husband Terry of Germany as well as great grandchildren and a large extended family. At Adeline’s request, no formal service will be held. Family and friends may gather later for a celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Adeline’s name to a favorite charity or The Stone House Museum, 255 Main St. S., Vale, OR 97918. Life brings tears, smiles and memories; the tears dry, the smile fades, but the memories live on forever. Service Information
