ALAN WILSON FOSTER Alan was born at Enloe Hospital in Chico, August 10, 1941. Passed away February 2, 2016 in Chico. He is survived by his sister, Gail Elisabeth Nemy and brother, Robert Walter Foster; his children Anna Geary, Montana and Christian Foster, Alaska. Alan graduated from Chico Sr. High School in 1958 and Chico State College in 1962. Alan attended U.S. Navy officer school training base in Pensacola, FL. He entered the Navy as an Ensign in 1963. Served in the Viet Nam War on the USS Kittyhawk. He retired from the Navy as Commander. He lived in Fremont and worked for the U.S. Government in their Oakland and San Francisco offices before retiring again. Memorial service will be Sat., Feb. 6th, at 1pm at the Trinity Methodist Church at 5th & Flume Streets. Interment will be Monday, Feb. 8th.
