Alan MarshallAlan Gilbert Marshall of Eugene died May 28 of complications from cancer. He was 78. No service is planned.He was born June 27, 1933, in Winter Haven, Fla., to Otis Fee and Hazel Lee Meyer Marshall. He married Shirley Adams in December 1985 in Springfield.He attended River Road Elementary School, Colin Kelly Junior High, Eugene High School, Abilene Christian College, the University of Oregon, and Oregon Health and Sciences University, graduating in 1962 with a dentistry degree. He practiced dentistry in Springfield from 1962 until his retirement in 1986.Survivors include his wife; a son, Bruce of Canby; a stepson, Mike Adams of Snohomish, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Etta Cay Dixon and Michelle Barth, both of Springfield; a sister, Lonavene Mehlert of Springfield; and seven grandchildrenArrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
