May 2nd, 1921 - November 13th, 2012

Albert J. Blood 91 of Middleton ID, formerly of Homedale ID died Tuesday November 13, 2012 at a Meridian hospital . A funeral service will be at 2:00PM on Friday, November 16, 2012, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Interment will follow at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery. Al was born on May 2, 1921 in Oklahoma. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. After his discharge he moved to California where he worked at Ball Glass. On April 19, 1956 he married Cora Jacobs and to this union a daughter Judy was born. After he retired he moved to Idaho to hunt and fish with his grandson . Al enjoyed gardening and canning. Al is survived by ,daughter Judy Blood and son-in-law Alex Chavarria, granddaughter Jean de Castro of Pasadena CA, grandson Albert Blood of Greenleaf, ID, and great- grandchildren , Lane Blood and Kailee de Castro, Madison Blood, Grasie Mae Blood and Albert Jr. Blood .
