Beloved Father and Acclaimed Mariachi Musician
Alberto Robles Pino, 88, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born April 8, 1936. Alberto was a man of strong faith and deep love and devotion for God and his family. He’s preceded in death by his beloved spouse Velia Ponce Pino, his Children Bertha, Mario and Victor; and his grandsons Garrick and Bobby. He was a cherished son of Antonio and Bertha Pino. He is survived by his children Monique, Arlene, Danny, and Roselle; his grandchildren Kaila, Raquel, Elysee, Melissa, Heather, Ashley, Mikey, Frankie, Anthony, Chase, Danielle, Joey, and Andrew.
Alberto was a renowned Ranchera Mariachi musician, Alberto's legacy lives on through his memorable contributions to Latin (Bolero) music. His celebrated albums "La Nueva Vox" and "Contrabando de Nogales" are testaments to his talent and passion. He never boasted of his achievements, choosing instead to let his music speak for itself. His works have been archived by UCLA's digital library and can be found in The Strachwitz Frontera Collection of Mexican and Mexican American Recordings. In addition to his love for music Alberto possessed a determined and entrepreneurial spirit successfully building his own real estate business and mortgage company, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his goals, unfazed by the opinions of others.
A memorial service to honor Alberto's life will be held at 10:00 AM on September 5, 2024, at Samaritan Funeral Home, 1505 E McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and medical staff who provided compassionate and support during Alberto's final days. Rest in peace, Alberto, our love for you and your music will forever echo in our hearts.
