Albert Pye, Jr., of Bellmawr, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. He was 84. Legacy Albert graduated from Gloucester City High School, class of 1955. He enlisted after high school in the United States Army Reserve. Electrician by trade, Albert was the proud owner and operator of Pye Electric, Inc. in Haddon Heights, NJ. He spent many years dedicated to the industry working as an electrical inspector for multiple municipalities in Camden and Gloucester counties. He was well liked and respected among his peers. Away from work, Albert loved traveling with his wife, Esther. He enjoyed attending car shows featuring antique and classic models of all kinds. Albert was an avid deer hunter and gun enthusiast, even competing in competitions. He also felt passionate about teaching safety courses at the gun range as well. Family He is the beloved husband to the late Esther M. Pye; devoted father to Albert III (Marlene), Cynthia Pugh and Valerie Childress (John); loving grandfather to Amanda (Andrew), Kati (Don), Albert IV, Christopher, Brian (Shannon), Brittany, Johnny (Danielle) and Courtney (Jacob); cherished great grandfather to Ezekiel, Isaac, Laurel, Bella, Naomi, Christopher, Jr., Jazlyn, Jayce, Andrew, Hope, Aaliyah, Jayden, Brayden and John III; dear brother of Donald Pye (Laura) and the late Annetta Marryott Fish. Albert is also survived by many extended family and friends. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 9:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the McGuinness Funeral Home - Woodbury, 34 Hunter Street.
