Albert "Al" Stutzman

Albert J. Stutzman (1960-2019) Albert (Al) Stutzman, age 59 of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Creedmoor, NC and New City, NY passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Al was born in Suffern, NY to Allene and the late George Stutzman of New City, NY. He was a 1978 graduate of Clarkstown High School South. He later attended DeVry Tech. Al was a devoted son, brother and loyal friend to many. Al began his career at Materials Research Corporation in Orangeburg, NY. He continued his career at Lederle Labs in Pearl River, NY and later at Glaxo Wellcome. Al spent the last 20 years at GE Healthcare Life Sciences where he performed numerous roles including Service Sales Specialist and Senior Service Engineer. During his time at GE, Al won numerous Presidential Circle Awards for Outstanding Performance. Al had the great fortune to travel to numerous countries, was an avid photographer and a technophile. Al had a love of music where he earned the title of “ DJ Al Baby". He DJ’d at numerous venues in the New City area. Al is survived by his mother Allene, sister Laurie and brother in law Marco Gioffre. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st at TJ McGowan’s Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY from 7-9 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd at 11AM at Mt. Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research, Woodbury, NY 11797
