Albert L. “Jelly Bean” Williams 78, died April 5, 2018. He is survived by his wife Linda (Smith) Williams; daughters Barbara (Bill) Banta, Angel (Rob) Hillard and Chrissy Neal; son Albert L. “Blue” Williams; brother Bobby Williams, Ronnie Williams and Jimmy Farris; grandchildren Logan, Kaley and 20 others and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Albert L. and Dana (Berryman) Farris; daughter Gail Demarcus and Sarah “Berta” Williams; sisters Ruby, Oma, Linda, Patsy and Geraldine and brothers Donny and Tommy. Professionally, Albert raised and trained horses for harness races, but privately, he loved to sew, make and design clothes. He was a math wizard who amazed people with his abilities. For fun, he enjoyed drag races and hanging out at the track. His prized possessions were his two GTO’s. “Jelly Bean” was well respected in the harness racing world from New York, to Chicago and in Florida. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends with a “pot luck” meal, from 5-7PM at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7PM with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Albert’s name to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
