Alberto Lara

Alberto Lara, 56, of Ault, Colorado, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on June 8, 2021 in Denver, Colorado. Alberto was born in Laredo, Texas to Florencio Lara & Antonia (Barrientos) Lara on June 18, 1964. On December 27, 2008, Alberto met the love of his life, Nora (Bauer) Lara. He had many loves throughout his life, to include fishing and being out on the lake. He was an avid Broncos fan all the way to the end. Alberto especially enjoyed & cherished all of the time he was able to spend with his daughter, son-in-law, his beautiful grandkids, and his dog Mamas. Alberto is survived by his wife; daughter, Tricia (Junior) Nanez; grandchildren, Eve, Aaliyah, and Jeremiah; siblings, Hortensia Lara, Francisca (Jessie) Yanes, Maria (Eddie) Garza, Antonia (Sam) Hinojosa, Juan (Arleen) Lara, Mario (Caroline Forsgren) Lara, and Elsa (Darren) Warren; and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Florencio & Roy Lara; and brother-in-law, Sam Hinojosa. A public visitation will be at 12:00pm on Monday June 14, 2021 at Northern Colorado Crematory- Community Room, at 700 8th St, Greeley, CO 80631. A Celebration of Alberto’s life will immediately follow at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, at 3456 11th Ave, Evans, CO 80620. There will be a potluck, family and friends feel free to bring your favorite dish. Do to Alberto’s sudden passing, Family will be accepting donations.
