Alex Roman Gonzales was called home on July 26, 2019 while he was surrounded by his loving family. Roman was born in 1949 in Laborcita, NM to Alisandro and Tercila (Carrillo) Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, brother, Richard Gonzales, nephew, Carlos Gonzales, and uncle, Willie Carrillo. He is survived by his sister Mary and husband Mike Jojola, brothers Eulalio Gonzales and wife Christina, and Lorenzo Gonzales and wife Linda, Aunt Fina Carrillo, nephews, Mike Jojola, Steven Jojola, and DelRay Gonzales, nieces Sharon Britt, Marylou Baca, Rachel Gonzales, Tracy Gonzales and Ramona Garcia and many great nieces and nephews. Lifetime friends and honorary pallbearers; Tito Armijo, Martin Davila, Placido Chavez and Rudy Carrillo. Roman loved the outdoors and especially loved spending time with his friends and family and enjoyed watching old western movies. Roman will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Rosary and mass will take place at the San Miguel Catholic Church on at Friday, August 9, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a burial at the San Antonio Cemetery, San Antonio, NM.
