Alexandra (Allie) Haley Kurtz, age 26, passed away on September 2, 2019. Beloved daughter of Robert Kurtz, Cherie McDonough, and “just like a real dad” Michael McDonough. Dear granddaughter of Doris and Allen Lapporte and the late Nelson and Hazel Loos Jr. Loving sister of Zachary and Olivia Kurtz and Jesse and Jacob McDonough. Allie was a graduate of Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts, she then went to London to attend Goldsmith’s University where she was a rugby player. She left London to pursue a career in Los Angeles, CA at Paramount Pictures Studios. Allie was a true “Dora the Explorer” as the entertainment industry did not satisfy her quest for adventure. She quit Paramount in June and moved to Santa Barbara to pursue her love of the ocean. She was so excited about her new job at the boat company. We will miss you greatly and the joy you brought to us. The world was a brighter place with you in it.
