Alfonzo Jones was born May 27, 1949 to Catherine Jones and Percy Wingo and departed this earth on December 25, 2019. A graduate of Howard High School, class of 1967, was drafted into U.S.Army , was a Vietnam veteran and served 20 years in the military. He was also a 33rd degree Mason (United Supreme Council of Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern District,USA) and had lived in Germany for the last 20 years. He leaves to mourn sons, Curtis (Sunny)Jones, Catron (April) Jones, Christoper (Monica) Jones, Bradden (Risha)Jones, Corey Jones, and Patrick Levonte Jones, sisters Loretta Cunningham, Pamela Ellis, brother Herbert C Ellis Jr. Preceeded in death by mother Catherine Ellis, spouse Shirley Jones and sister Brenda Ellis. He leaves to mourn several grandchildren and a host of nieces , nephews and cousins and many, many dear and lifelong friends.
