ALFRED "BUDDY" A. HABERKORN age 69 of Watertown, formerly of Jefferson passed away on September 23, 2010 at the Bethesda Lutheran Communities in Watertown. He was born in Watertown on December 30, 1940 son of the late Bernard "Ben" and Wilhelmina (Meitner) Haberkorn. Buddy was a member of the St. Coletta Family from June of 1966 until his move to the Bethesda Communities in February of 2009. He was an active member of St. Coletta Community for over 43 working in their work programs. He will be deeply missed by his sisters; Dorothy Reinke of Waukesha, Rita (Robert) Lemminger of Menomonie Falls, brother-in-law; Roy Haberman of Waterloo. sister-in-law; Leola Haberkorn of Watertown 14 nieces & nephews; Karen Jovanovich, Joanne (Norman) Chaput, Jay (Elizabeth) Haberkorn David (Susan) Peschel, Barbara (Rick) Lischka, Lynnette (Roy) Pooler, Roger (Maribel) Haberkorn Judy (James) Tyrer, Gene Haberkorn, Claudia (Victor) Imrie, Clifford (Susan) Haberman, Ronald (Sandra) Lenz, Steven (Catherine) Lemminger, Dale (Renee) Lemminger. 27 Great nieces and nephews, and 16 great-great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers; Joseph, Clarence, Edward, Francis, 4 sisters; Margaret Peschel, Lorraine Haberman, Mary Lenz, Dolores (Sr. Lorita S.S.N.D) Haberkorn, 3 brothers-in-law; George Peschel, Floyd Lenz, Robert Reinke, 2 sisters-in-law; Janice Haberkorn, Blanche Haberkorn, nephew; Gus Jovanovich, niece; Kim Haberkorn. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday September 30, 2010 at the Chapel on the Bethesda Campus with the Rev. Michael Schempf officiating, burial will follow in St. Henry's Cemetery in Watertown. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Chapel on the Bethesda Campus from 1:00p.m. until the time of Services. Memorials preferred to be given in Buddy's name to St. Coletta of Wisconsin, or to Bethesda Lutheran Communities Condolences and memorials can also be made online at www.schneidermichaelisfuneralhome.com
