Alfred G. Kreck, of Deptford, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was 75. Legacy Pop, as he affectionately known was born and raised in Camden. HE graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Pop worked for the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles for more than 20 years. He retired in 2009. Away from work Pop enjoyed watching John Wayne Western movies; reading, traveling, watching Looney Tunes Cartoons and listening to Country Music. He enjoyed trips to Cape May, Hawaii and most of all, Italy for his anniversary with his wife, Kathleen. He also enjoyed special times spent with family along with Kathleen. Pop was in recovery for nearly 38 years and enjoyed the fellowship he fostered with his AA family. Pop cherished attending all of his son, David's school trips. Jenny fondly remembers making a special trip with her Pop to the Pocono Mountains for a motorcycle rally. He enjoyed watching Jocelyn's Soccer games, Vicky's softball games and Ariel's secret trips to McDonald's with her Pop. Thanksgiving trips to visit Kenny & Annette were among Pop's fondest memories. Most of all, Pop enjoyed doting on his grandchildren creating memories that they will cherish as his legacy Family Pop is the beloved husband of 55 years to Kathleen ( nee Iezzi); loving father of Jenny Brown & David (Alisha) Kreck.cherished grandfather of Ariel (Mel) Lentz, Jocelyn & Victoria Kreck; dear brother of Elsie Kephart, Bobby & Kenny (Annette) Kreck. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pop's visitation at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in the McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury where his Memorial Ceremony will follow at 12:00 PM.
