South Hadley - Alice T. Cataldo, 69, passed away on October 14, 2023, at home with her husband by her side. She was born on March 18, 1954, in Holyoke, MA, to Edward and Esther (Seidel) Logan. She was a lifelong resident of South Hadley. Alice retired after working 20 years as a medical transcriptionist at Holyoke Hospital. She enjoyed traveling to Puerto Rico; her favorite hobby was tag sailing. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 20 years, Paul Cataldo of S. Hadley. She is survived by 2 children, Roger and David Menard, 2 stepchildren, Dustin and Lenore Cataldo, and 5 grandchildren. A special thanks to all the caregivers who provided her with in-home care. Especially Melissa Germain and Christy Delgado along with Lydia, and Tamika. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 6th at 3:00 pm at the Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home. A calling hour will precede the service from 2:00-3:00pm. The burial will be private. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
