Alice T Griego

Griego, Alice T., age 82, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 21, 2013, after a long battle with Parkinsons Disease. She worked for the NM Commission for the Blind and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation running vending facilities for over 20 years. Alice will always be remembered for her active church participation, strong faith, and love and compassion for others. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Eduardo and Isabel Trujillo; daughter, Christine Benavidez and eight beloved brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Cresencio (Chris); grandchildren from daughter, Christine, Danielle Sifuentes (Juan); great granddaughter, Blue, Justeen Sanderson (Evan), and Alexondria Benavidez; her daughter, Edwina Abreu, husband Alfred and grandchildren Janelle, Alfred Jr., and Brittany; daughter Rose Sandoval, husband Joseph, and grandson Nicholas; her brothers and sisters, Bertha Romero, Dora Lucero, Luisa Martinez, Fidel Trujillo and Leonard Trujillo as well as numerous loving family members. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, November 25, 2013, at 7:00 PM, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, located at 5311 Phoenix Ave., Albuquerque. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 26 at 10: 00 AM also at the church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
