Alice M. Ortiz

Alice M. Ortiz, 84, of Greeley, CO died December 29, 2009 at her home. She was born March 2, 1925 in Mora, NM to Camilo and Onofre (Apodaca) Martinez. She was married to Eutimio Ortiz. Alice was known for her baking and needle work. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family. Alice is survived by her daughters, Judi Bedan-Sahrle and husband Tom, Jeanne Bauer; grandchildren, Michelle Bedan (Damian), Cristie Bauer, Kyle Bauer; great-grandchildren, Samantha Chacon, Rob Chacon, Gunnar Lordemann and Lucas Lordemann; and sister, Florence Ortiz all of Greeley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim; parents; four sisters and two brothers. Recitation of The Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Adamson Chapel, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at Adamson Chapel.
