Alice Wilkinson

Alice Wilkinson, age 87, of Parker, CO, passed away May 6th, 2024.  She was born October 22, 1936 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Cecil and Helen Richardson.

Alice graduated high school in 1954 from Will Rogers High in Tulsa. Alice attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK.

Alice married her high school sweetheart Dan Wilkinson at 19 years old on January 27, 1956. They were married for 68 years.

Alice graduated from Oklahoma State in 1958 with a degree in Home Economics. 

After college, Alice taught grades K-3rd from 1958 to 1967. After her second child was born, she was a stay at home mom for 11 years. In 1978 she became a realtor and worked in residential real estate for over 30 years in California.

Alice spent most of her adult life in California. After retirement, Dan and Alice moved to their dream location in Lake Tahoe, NV. They moved to Parker in 2021 to be closer to their grand-daughters, son and daughter-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Wilkinson; Daughter, Brenda and son-in-law Charles Boyer of Forney, TX.; Son, Keith and daughter-in-law Heather Wilkinson; granddaughters, Molly and Megan Wilkinson, all of Parker, CO.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald all of Tulsa, OK.

Alice loved being a grandmother to her two grand-daughters, enjoyed baking and cooking, shopping and her annual Christmas trip to San Francisco for over 20 years with her close group of girlfriends. She enjoyed being active in her church wherever she lived and involvement with VBS and Joy Box Ministry. Alice was an excellent seamstress, loved traveling, enjoyed live theater performances, entertaining family and friends, and chocolate.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, May 14th, 2024 at Parker Bible Church. (10595 Newlin Gulch Road, Parker, CO 80134).

Burial will be at Parker Cemetery following the funeral.
