Alicia Marie Carmela Gonzales LaMonda

Alicia Marie Carmela Gonzales LaMonda Alicia Gonzales LaMonda, 43, of Santa Fe, passed away suddenly on January 14, 2021. Alicia was born on December 30, 1977 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Margaret and Rudy Gonzales. She will be remembered for her beautiful bright smile, her great laugh and her wonderful sense of humor. Lost in her own way, she still loved her family deeply. She had a big heart and would help those who needed it, even when her situation wasn't all that great. Alicia loved her children to the end of the earth and just wanted to be with her family. She will be missed dearly by all of us. Even though our hearts are broken, we know she is somewhere far better. We pray for the day we will meet her again. She is survived by her husband Dana LaMonda; children Santiago Montoya Gonzales, Mariah Gonzales, Dana LaMonda Jr., and Josiah LaMonda; granddaughter Serenity Gonzales; mother Margaret Gonzales; brothers Gabriel Gonzales (Evangeline Gonzales) and Michael Gonzales; and nephew and niece Luke and Hannah Gonzales. Alicia is proceeded in death by her son Christopher LaMonda, father Rudy Gonzales, and niece Eleanor Gonzales, as well as many aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins who loved her very much. Cremation will take place in February 2021 and a funeral will follow at a later date.
