Alicia Anna Marie Baca

On January 8, 2017 God took his angel, Alicia Anna Marie Baca, home to rest at the young age of 23. She was born on July 29th 1993 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a lifelong resident. Alicia is survived by her daughter Ana Maria Martinez and Ana's father Jose Angel Martinez; her father Alray Baca and wife Rene, brothers Eric Lopez Jr and wife Briana and children, George and Faith Ratiu and Johnny Angel Garcia; Godmother Margie Lucero; Her mom Rosemary Torres, Uncle Ruben Baca and family, Aunt Amy Baca and family; her mother Sophia Sabetta and husband David, brothers Domonic Gabaldon, Joseph Montoya and sisters Bryanna Saenz, Alanna Gabaldon and Josephine Gabaldon.Ana was Alicia's pride and joy. She always put Ana's needs above her own, as any great mother would do. Everything Alicia did was to better herself for her daughter. The love they shared is indescribable, they would just look at each other and you could see how much they loved each other. A mother's love can't be measured, but it can always be felt. It is sad that she had to leave such a beautiful little girl behind, but she raised her to be strong, independent and to always love yourself no matter what. Alicia was a beautiful spirited person, who loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hiking, camping, hunting, four wheeling, and most of all fishing. She also loved to be out in nature where she could be free and not have a worry in the world. As she would say "no worries, no cares, just sunlight and my fishing pole". So the next time you see a beautiful sunset, a pretty flower, or just the change in seasons, that is where her spirit can be felt. Her life shouldn't be mourned, but celebrated. The purpose of life is to enjoy every moment and live. Be happy she lived. Services are pending at this time, and will be announced.
