Alison "Ali" Marie Lance
June 22nd, 1971 - November 2nd, 2017
Lexington, KY Alison Ali Marie Lance, 46, died Thursday, November 2, 2017. She is survived by her daughters Ashley (Zachary) Hahn, September Casals and Lauren Shields; sisters Lisa (Timothy) Risner, Angie Sims, Lee Gehefer and Joy (James K.) Surgener; brother Daniel Lance; grandchildren Mary Rose Bonds, Brendon Frank and Kenneth Frank; mother R. Alice Lance-Hager; close friends Stephen Casals and Frankie Shields; many friends and extended family and her Fur Babies, Sisco and Henry. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Edward Lance. Ali was a member of Southland Christian Church. She was a woman of many passions, but none was greater than her passion for her children and grandchildren. Several years ago, she beat breast cancer and stayed active in bringing awareness to this cause. She was very much a kind, people person and would lend a hand to anyone in need. She had an acute comedic, sarcastic side that people liked. For relaxation, she loved to go the beach, crochet, or read a good book. Ali was a person who loved to learn. When fighting for one of her causes, she was fearless in defense of her positions. Ali loved dogs and was known to adopt as many as she could. She was a hard worker, but always had time to help another. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 5-7PM, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7PM.
