Allan P. Giovannini

Loving Husband and Father, Allan Primo Giovannini, ""Papa"", 80, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed away on April 7th. His wife, Noni, was at his side when he transitioned towards the Heavens. Honoring Papa's wishes, there will be no service. His ashes will be spread at various places he held dear in his heart. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on February 15, 1934. He graduated from Brockton High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. Papa was married to Noni on September 29, 1956; they were married 57 years. He worked as a Civil Engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Highway Department for 36 years. Prior to his retirement and subsequent move to Florida from Wareham, Massachusetts, he enjoyed jogging along the Cape Cod Canal and sailing. After retirement, he enjoyed fishing and boating. His perfect day was spent in his Boston Whaler, the ""Noni"", on the Banana River, and coming home to Noni with his catch of the day. Papa is survived by wife, Noni J.; son, Ted C. Giovannini; daughter, Debra ""Dj"" Giovannini, and his extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
