Mementos

We are shocked and sadden with the unexpected loss of our Big Al, who died on January 20th peacefully with his wife by his side. Allen was born November 17th, 1954 in Wuerzburg, Germany on a US Army Base to Billy H. Jackson and Beatrice Castillo Jackson. Allen spent his childhood on various Army Bases before graduating from a civilian High School. Although he was the 3rd child of five children, he was the rock of his family growing up. As soon as he graduated, he followed his family to Oregon. Allen started his career at the age of 17 with Kingsford Manufacturing, it lasted 47 years. He was immensely proud of his accomplishments in those 47 years working his way to Maintenance Manager. Allen was not afraid to show his soft side, he had a big heart. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Lynda, son Chris, Grand Children Alex and Evan who he helped raise. He is also survived by his brothers Raymond Jackson of Merced, Ca, Bill Jackson of Dolan Springs, AZ. Sisters Cathy White, Jenniffer McLaughlin both of Yarnell, AZ and nephews Joe Jackson of Phoenix, AZ. And David White of Kingman AZ. Along with many friends and In-laws. Interment and Celebration of life to be held later when it is safe to gather. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home. Please access the obituary and you are invited to sign the guestbook at musgroves.com
