Aller Faucette
July 17th, 1920 - September 20th, 2009
Mrs. Aller C. Faucette, 89 of Browns Summit passed away Sunday September 20, 2009 at her home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Monticello United Church of Christ with Reverend Gary Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Faucette was born July 17, 1920 in South Boston, VA, to Cabble Jack and Garnett Cumbie Comer. She was a very active in her church for over 60 years, sharing her many talents with the church, its members and her community with a quiet, loving dedication.. Mrs. Faucette enjoyed gardening and her flowers, cooking and with her servant's heart helping others in need. In addition to her parents Mrs. Faucette is predeceased by her husband Horace Richard Faucette, Sr. and a brother Cabble Jack Comer, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Martin and husband Carl, of Bolivia, NC; a son Dick Faucette and wife Gayle, of Browns Summit. Seven grandchildren, Sandra Hill, Denise Arnold and husband Charles ,Melissa Bentley and husband Glen, Kimberly Councilman and husband Casey, Kelly Edwards and husband Matt, Buz Knox and wife Jenny and Kathryn Blakemore and husband John ; a sister Francis C. Sloan; several loving great-grandchildren., nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Monticello United Church of Christ, 5001 NC 150 E Browns Summit, and NC 27214 or to Greensboro Hospice and Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. The family would like to thank caregivers to our Mom, Pam, Jennifer, and Rhonda, allowing her to stay in her home. Online memorials may be made to lambethtroxlerfuneralhome.com
