ALMA L. RIOPELLE MELBOURNE, FL. - Live video will start at 11:00 AM this Wednesday. Alma Riopelle, 92, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2013. She is survived by her husband Lt. Col. Armand (Rip) C. Riopelle, a sister, Betty Marie Zanghi of Cherry Hill, NJ, and her children, Gene Powell and Jack Powell of Melbourne, FL, and 1 grandson and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by Myrtle Tordone, George Milligan, Dave Milligan, Joseph Milligan and John Milligan. Alma was preceded in death by her previous husbands Eugene H. Powell and Merrill P. Moore. Alma was always active in entertainment projects for the community at the Indian River Colony Club, Melbourne, FL. She also enjoyed dancing and golfing and was at one time a salon business owner. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Vierra, FL 32955, (321) 653-1973.
