Alma Victorino
June 18th, 1927 - December 10th, 2022
Alma Victorino, long time Yuba City, CA, resident, passed away at Rideout - The Fountains on December 10, 2022, at the age of 95. Alma was born on June 18, 1927, in McClusky, ND. She was the eleventh child born to Eva and Christian Hausauer. As a young girl, they left North Dakota and settled in Lodi, CA. There she met the love of her life, Albert Victorino. They married in 1944, and enjoyed 52 years together. They moved to Yuba City and were blessed with seven children. Alma had many hobbies including crocheting; making many afghans for her family and friends. She belonged to the Red Hat Society, and the Moose Campers Club enjoying their many trips RVing. Alma loved the social scene and never knew a stranger. She also loved dancing, especially the polka and waltz. Alma worked for many years at Sunsweet Growers, starting as a sorter and retiring as a line leader. Alma is survived by her children, David Victorino (Alice) of Oregon House, CA, Yvonne Victorino Allen of Melbourne, FL, Deborah Inderbitzen (Tom) of District 10, CA, and Rebecca Victorino of Denver, CO; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Alma is preceded in death by her husband Albert Victorino; her parents, Eva and Christian Hausauer; sons, Thomas Victorino, Douglas Victorino and Charles Victorino. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 223 Eighth St., Marysville, CA 95901. Graveside services following mass at Sierra View, 4900 Olive Ave., Olivehurst, CA 95961, with reception to follow at St. Joseph Church.
