Alva Turner

Obituary Alva J (Roloff) Turner age 87 of Colorado Springs, formerly of St Petersburg, FL, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2017 at home. Alva was born March 10, 1929, in Lima Center, WI to the late Eric and Helen (Pheiffer) Roloff. Alva is remembered with love by her daughters Debra (Ed) Palma of WI and Judith Turner of FL. Sons Michael Turner, and William (Lucy) Turner of CO and son-in-law, David McElyea of TX. Grandchildren Pamela Kirby of WI, Adam, and Ashley McEyea of TX, Chirs (Jennifer) Turner of AZ, and Eric (Christina) Turner of VA, Gisele, and Luciano DiChristofaro of CO. Great-children Shayla, Alyssa, and Tiana Kirby, Collin, Austin, Leah Grace, Hannah Faith, and Bekah Turner. Sibling Carol (Herb) Dorn of WI, David Roloff of NC, Robert Roloff of AZ, and sister-in-law Marg Roloff of WI. And many special nieces and nephews. Alva is preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Martin Turner, and daughter, Jaclyn McElyea. And sisters Janet, Evelyn, Doris, Ruby, Donna, and Lila, and brother, Eric. She enjoyed astrology, reading, numerology, and Pastor Joel Osteen sermons. She worked hard all her life not officially retiring until age 80. She lived her life by the mantra 'Gain knowledge and love one another.' She was very independent, spoke her mind, and 'did it her way' right up to the end! Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetary, Waukesha, WI. Services Services are to be announced
