Gamboa IV, Alvaro R. 47, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, he came here in 2000 from Key West. He was catholic and a member of Christ Our King Church in Tampa. He was a waiter at the Vinoy Resort. He was preceded in death by Father Alvaro R. Gamboa III. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kathleen J. Gamboa nee Riley, St. Petersburg, FL; his mother Melba R. Gamboa nee Martinez. There will be a Visitation from 3 till service time at 5pm on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Anderson-McQueen, 2201-Dr. M.L. King Street North, St. Petersburg.
