Alyce moved from Selma Alabama to Tacoma WA. in 1953 with her two children Willie and Omelia to join the rest of her family. In 1975 Alyce had an encounter that would change her life for ever. She received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at that same moment with the evidence of speaking in tongues, at The New Covenant Pentecostal Church under the Leadership of Pastor Edna E Travis where she served as a faithful member until she went to be in service with her son Willie Smith at the Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church. Alyce journey continued when she went to help her daughter and son in law Pastors Earnest and Mae Williams at City Family Worship Center. She believed in sharing her love and support between her children, so when Willie received the call to Pastor she went to support him at The Church of Acts Pentecostal Church. She later became a member of her daughter Pastor Marie Watsons ministry Perpetual House of Worship.
