Amal Nahhas Khoury

In loving memory of Amal Nahhas Khoury, born on January 20th, 1944, in Saida, Lebanon, who peacefully passed away on September 13th, 2023, in Gainesville, Florida. She was 79 years old. Amal is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John Khoury, her two cherished children, Adonice and Peter, her dedicated daughter-in-law Jennifer, her adored grandchildren, Ian and Amelia, and her closest brother Caesar Nahhas. Amal dedicated 30 years of her life to the public school system in Brevard County, Florida, where she made a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. Beyond her professional life, Amal had a deep love for nature, a pure heart, and a trusting Faith in Jesus Christ. Amal's happiest moments were spent in the company of her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will endure through generations. Amal Nahhas Khoury was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a kind compassionate neighbor and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, her selflessness and her profound impact on the lives she touched.
