Amanda Archuleta, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on May 23, 1938 and raised in Las Vegas, NM. Amanda is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Gregorita Lopez; husband of 58 years, Joe; brothers, Phil, Frank and Pete; sisters, Sarah and Cleotilde. She is survived by sister, Alice; brothers, Ben and Nelson; her children, Loretta (companion Mario); Ramona; Cathy (husband Jake); Jerry; Carlos; Mandy; Michael; Samantha (husband Diego); plus seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Amanda was a foster parent for 13 years and raised over 30 foster children over the years. She was a Christian and prayer warrior and prayed daily for God to intercede for her family and friends. She will be remembered as a woman of faith, love and generosity. Amanda will be laid to rest at a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to your favorite charity or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or The Heart Gallery of New Mexico Foundation in Amanda's name.
