Amanda Kathryn Casey
April 15th, 1971 - April 30th, 2022
On April 30th Amanda Kathryn Casey our beloved Princess passed away and Heaven gained an Angel. She was 51. The daughter of Stephanie Kathryn Frieze of Tacoma and Richard G Casey of Olympia, she passed away at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Her corneas were donated because, as her brother, Frank said, "It would be wonderful for someone to be able to see through the eyes of a wonderful person who loved everything that she saw." Her love was pure and complete like that of a child and she took delight in the world. Born in Bellevue, Amanda (who preferred to be called Princess) graduated from Peninsula High School in 1992. She was a prolific artist, loved her family--actually everyone she met, enjoyed music, going to Las Vegas, full Moons, and beach Sunsets. Besides her parents she leaves behind brothers Joshua and Frank Casey of Tacoma, brother Nadir Kianersi of Menlo Park, CA, sister Angela Casey of Salem, OR, stepfather David Haeck, stepmother Pam Casey, sisters-in-law Ana Aguinaga and Jamie, nephew Gabriel, and nieces Linda, Lydia, and Willow. A private memorial is planned at Ruston Chapel. The family requests contributions are made to the Special Olympics of WA.
