Amanda R. Gifford, 33, of Amsterdam died tragically on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 4, 1987. A lifelong area resident she was a graduate of Broadalbin- Perth High School and was employed last by RPO Manufacturing. Amanda will be remembered for being a free spirit who enjoyed fishing, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two children, Maya (13) and Landon (9); her parents, Richard “Rick” Gifford and Susan Ray, Cindi Gifford and John Hartwick; her siblings, Paul Gifford, Melissa Gifford and Michael Ray; her maternal great grandmother, MaryLou Sawyer; her beloved dog, Stitch; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 3 until 5p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
