Amanda “Mandy” Yvonne Scott, 49, of Moncks Corner, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pimlico Rural Fire Department, 1607 Pimlico Blvd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Mandy was born February 5, 1965 in Rock Hill, SC a daughter of Carrol L. Scott and E. Grady “Ed” (Denise) Scott. She attended schools in Goose Creek and was a graduate of Limestone College in Gaffney. She worked for Cummins Marine and was employed in the Berkeley County School District. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her long-time friend Clarence L. Mays; siblings, Eddie (Trine) Scott, Peggy (Kevin) Ott, Kim Dudley, and Ryan Dudley; and Dylon Ott, Nathan Ott, Grady Scott, Malik Williams, and Ayden Johnson. The family would like to recognize Pimlico Rural Fire Department and Hospice of Charleston for all of their care and compassion during this time. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, North Charleston, SC.
