Amy L. Seeley

Amy L. Ellithorpe Seeley, age 62, of Mayfield, NY, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Albany Medical Center, following a long illness. She was born February 13, 1951 in Gloversville, the daughter of Mildred Wemple Ellithorpe and the late John W. Ellithorpe. She was a 1969 graduate of Mayfield High School. Amy enjoyed antiquing and rehabilitating older furniture. She also had a great love for music and going to concerts with her girls. She enjoyed cooking for her family, but her most treasured times were spent being "Mimi". She is survived by: two daughters: Betsy S. Lake Willy of Fonda and Sarah K. Seeley of Mayfield; her mother, Mildred A. Ellithorpe of Gloversville; a sister, Merry Ann Ellithorpe and her husband Paul Barton of Merrimack, NH; two cherished grandchildren: Quincy and Liam Lake; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Amy was predeceased by a sister, Linda DeRocker. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 1st at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St; Broadalbin, where a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating. Cremation will follow at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady.
