Amy L. Ellithorpe Seeley, age 62, of Mayfield, NY, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Albany Medical Center, following a long illness. She was born February 13, 1951 in Gloversville, the daughter of Mildred Wemple Ellithorpe and the late John W. Ellithorpe. She was a 1969 graduate of Mayfield High School. Amy enjoyed antiquing and rehabilitating older furniture. She also had a great love for music and going to concerts with her girls. She enjoyed cooking for her family, but her most treasured times were spent being "Mimi". She is survived by: two daughters: Betsy S. Lake Willy of Fonda and Sarah K. Seeley of Mayfield; her mother, Mildred A. Ellithorpe of Gloversville; a sister, Merry Ann Ellithorpe and her husband Paul Barton of Merrimack, NH; two cherished grandchildren: Quincy and Liam Lake; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Amy was predeceased by a sister, Linda DeRocker. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 1st at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St; Broadalbin, where a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating. Cremation will follow at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 722, Mayfield, NY 12117 or the Mayfield Central Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 432, Mayfield, NY 12117.
