Ana Maria Alvarado Figueroa, 79, oh Haverstraw passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018. She was born on September 9, 1938 in Villalba, Puerto Rico to Emilo and Juana Alvarado. Ana married the love of her life Manfredo Figueroa on March 8, 1958. Ana and Manfredo were avid baseball fans who loved cheering for the NY Yankees. She loved watching old TV game showa and cooking. She was always cooking. Like Like her husdan her passionin life was spending time with her children & grandchildrenThose that knew her had surely eaten at her table one her deliciously prepared meals that were always too much food but rarely resulted in any leftovers.She was predeceased by her "gordo" Manfredo. just recently on March 1st and her heartache was too great for to overcome. She was also predeacesd by her parents , several brothers ans sisters and her daughter Ana Ibis and her grandchildrenNelson Jr. and Taylor Shea. Ana is suvived Beloved children Nelson (Beatrice) of Walden, NY, Maria (Robin Finkelstein) of Stony Point, Jose (Wendy Guzman) of Haverstraw, Manny (Jamie) of Stony Point, her adored & Cherished grandchildren Michael, Kristi, Ashley, Joseph,Justin,Laura, Grant, Madison and Olivia. She is also Survived by her brother Carlos Alvarado and her siters Maria Emilia Gonzalez and Georgina Alvarado, Irma Alvarado and Esther Diaz, as well numerous nieces & nephews. The family will recieve friends & relative on Sunday May 6, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY, A Funeral Service will held on Monday May 7, at 10:30 AM at the funeral home in Garnerville with interment to follow in Mt Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw.
