Obituary ANDRE DARNELL ELLIOTT Andre Darnell Elliott, 62, of Colorado Springs went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2013. He was born July 7, 1951 to Alfred Lee McClendon and Theresa Elliott McClendon in Colorado Springs. Andre attended Distr11 Schools, Garfield Elementary, North Junior Middle School and Palmer High School, where he was on the Wrestling Team. He loved playing music and was good playing the drums, guitar and piano. He played in the Jimmy Jules Band with his cousin Wayne Farris Band, along with many other bands locally. Andre is survived by his children; sons, Andre Littleton of Colorado Springs and Sylvan Elliott of Florida; a daughter, Chrystal Littleton of Washington, DC; brothers Robert Lewis Elliott of Colorado Springs and Reverend Alfred McClendon, Jr. of Georgia; grandsons, DeAree Littleton and Marquis Elliott of Colorado Springs, Dominic Littleton, Kyree and Savion Elliott of Florida; aunts, Lillian K. Lintz of Atwater, CA, Penny Cherry (Clarence) Threatt of Colorado Springs; and cousins, Andranttee, Anthony, Renae, Michael, Martel, Lillian, Mark and David, and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, James and Ethel Elliott, who raised him, and a sister, Selina Marie McClendon-Mills. Andre will be truly missed. His infectious smile and kindness was generously shared by all he came in contact with. We are comforted in knowing that he will be watching over us until we are together again.
