Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Andrea Marie Esparza
August 15th, 1980 - February 1st, 2024
Andrea Marie Esparza was born at St. Luke's in Boise, Idaho, on August 15, 1980, to Jacqueline Marie. She couldn't help but become the center of attention early in life, as all of the nurses and staff complimented that she was "the most beautiful baby in the nursery." Andrea spent most of her life in the Caldwell, Idaho area. She grew up with 2 sisters, Ashley & Amber, who currently reside in Caldwell. Andrea attended Middleton High School and Canyon Springs High School (formerly Caldwell Alternative High School). She graduated with an Associate of Arts in Accounting from TVCC, & went on to pursue her Bachelor's degree from BSU. Her family was immensely proud of her for her academic achievements. Andrea developed a love for music, reading, movies, & drawing while growing up. She enjoyed a wide range of music, including classic & hard rock, alternative, heavy metal, R&B, & rap. The only country she ever admitted listening to was the 80's group "Alabama." Some of her favorites were Metallica, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Snoop Dogg, Eazy-E, Aaliyah, & Bone Thugz. Andrea's first favorite movie was"E.T." when she was 3, but graduated to being a fan of scary/horror movies in her teens. She loved cartoons, especially Ren & Stimpy, Beavis & Butthead, Garfield, SpongeBob, Scooby-Doo, & Southpark. Her favorite activities included going to the park & movie theaters with family, playing pool (she was an amazing pool shark), & shopping. Andrea's sense of humor was always appreciated by those that loved her & knew her best. She would win an argument just to be able to say that she won. She would rarely back down from a point she was trying to prove, & will be fondly remembered for that. Anyone that truly knew her would say that she was selfless & generous but never wanted to admit it. Andrea was blessed with her first daughter in May of 2008. Aaliyah became the main focus in her life. She married Jose Luis Esparza in January of 2015. Eva, her second daughter, was born in November of 2016. Aaliyah & Eva were both miracles to her, & the most important people in her life. She was a devoted mother & wife, & always put her family's needs above anything else. Andrea was also an aunt to 2 nieces; Angelica & Alaysia, & 4 nephews; Vinnie, Francisco, Andy, & Milan. They will always remember her for the way that she would show up in a heartbeat for them when they needed her. Andrea is survived by her husband JoseLuis Esparza & daughters Aaliyah Gomez & Eva Esparza of Caldwell, her grandmother Carole Knauss of Middleton, grandfather Charles Couch of Caldwell, mother Jackie (Wayne) Clarke of Caldwell, sisters Ashley (Vicente) Valverde & Amber (Efran Roblero) McClendon of Caldwell, nieces Angelica (Matthew) Gomez & Alaysia Valverde of Caldwell, nephews Vinnie & Hector Valverde, & Francisco Ramirez & Milan Roblero of Caldwell. Andrea was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Virginia Knauss formerly of Nampa, grandfather Edwin Yahn formerly of Nampa, & Aunt Brenda Long formerly of McKinleyville, California.
