Andrew Ronald Bodnar
December 27th, 1952 - November 21st, 2012
Andrew Ronald Bodnar known as Andy was born in Akron Ohio to Marin and Ann Bodnar on December 27, 1952 and passed away on November 21, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Andy grew up in a military family traveling around the US and Philippines. His family settled back in Lakewood in 1969. During his senior year at Lakes High School he reunited with someone he knew as a young child Linda Hunsaker. Andy and Linda were married just three years later in a civil service on October 20, 1972. This young couple welcomed a son in January 1973 named Andrew and another son in March 1978 named Anthony. Andy had a love for music from having his own band as a teenager, singing in the choir and playing his guitar. An avid bowler, Andy spent allot of time at Bowlero and always had an average over over 225. He loved to tell stories and his boys remember him telling them about visiting the military air fields and toured many airplanes and participated locally in the air shows at McChord. He worked with his dad at NW Propriety as maintenance repair. His family is very important to Andy and he has watched both his sons start families. He welcomed three granddaughters Ashlee in 99, Brittanee in 00 and Emilee in 01. A great accomplishment came in 2009 when he and his wife Linda bought their first home in Parkland. Memorial Service to be held Thursday November 29, 2012 11:00 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 5505 108th St SW, Lakewood.
