Andrew J. Brown was called home to his fathers' house on February 4, 2012. When the angels came to escort him home, he was 84. Andy spent his life bearing witness to others and leading them to the light of the Lord. Andy's free time was spent ministering to those of the Victory Outreach Mission. Andy was a deacon at many local Baptist churches, the last being the Westside Baptist Church. He loved to travel and he spent many weeks traveling with his wife, Shirley. Born April 25, 1927 in Seward, Kansas. Andy moved to California in 1941, where he met and married his first wife, Robbie Naomi Samuels. Andy was a retired truck driver of 30 years, and was a member of the Teamster's Union. Andy is survived by his wife of 22 years, Shirley Brown brother, Roger Ernie Brown son, David (Rita) Brown daughter, Lynn brown grandchildren, Michelle Martinez Kevin and Joe Brown and Valerie Trask 15 great-grandchildren stepchildren, Mickey, Martin, and Kelley Tomasini Margie Droszcz He is preceded in death by his first wife, Robbie Naomi sister, Juanita stepdaughter, Kathleen Heinz Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 1-9pm at the Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. Salinas, CA 93905. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2012 10am at the Healey Mortuary Chapel. Burial to follow services at the Garden of Memories Cemetery 850 Abbott St. Salinas, CA 93901.
