Andrew Lee Hansen, 82 of Chico, CA, passed away on February 25, 2010. He was born April 26, 1927. Andy was in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a Masonary and Building Contractor. From 1960-1975, Andy was an outdoor enthusiast and was very active in 4-H while his 4 children were young. During his tenure, he as President of County Club Counsel, Community Leader of Commanche Creek 4-H Club, Leader of Horse Club and woodshop to name a few. Andy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marian; daughters, Gerry and Diane and a son, Dan (Amy); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen and his sister, Betty Wilson. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to Butte County 4-H Counsel, 2279 B Del Oro Ave., Oroville, CA 95965.
