Andrew Karl Marsh

MARSH, Andrew Karl, 58, born May 28, 1954 in Chester, PA passed away after a valiant battle with lung disease on August 27, 2012. Andrew was a United States Navy Veteran. He was an avid sports fan especially Tampa Bay Rays. He retired from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office after 22 years of service, was active in the Lutz community and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Karl E. and Ruth Kuppinger Marsh, godson and nephew, Karl J. Marsh. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Jane (Hartley); daughter, Denise Lavendusky and her husband, Edward; grandchildren, Andrew D. Lavendusky and Cassandra Elwin; brother, Paul E. and his wife, Donna (Lombardo); nephew, Paul E. Marsh, Jr. and his wife, Jodie; grandnephews, Paul E. 3rd and Dominic; fraternal Aunt Fleeta Miller. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8th at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Committal services will be private at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Lynn Sowers Memorial Fund @ Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, P O Box 3371, Tampa, FL 33601or to the Youth Center Building Fund at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
