Andrew Dale Meineke

ANDREW DALE MEINEKE Andrew was born in Denver Colorado on June 1, 1974 to William Dale Meineke and Susan Marie Meineke (nee Schleh). He attended Bethlehem Lutheran School in Lakewood and Pomona High School in Arvada, where he excelled in math and in playing the marching quads drums with gusto! He has two brothers, Mathew and Jonathan, who fondly remember the times with their Dad camping, fishing and hunting in northwestern Colorado. He married Aimee Parker and they have two wonderful children: River Alexandra and Hawk William. Both children are attending Shepard of the Valley Lutheran School in Westminster and both are at the top of their class in many subjects, and enjoy the extracurricular activities. After high school, Andrew became an accomplished chef, employed in several local restaurants, then went on to obtain a Certificate in Massage Therapy from Boulder Massage Therapy Institute. He held positions in spas locally and in Vail, Colorado. Along the way, in his spare time, he obtained his private pilot’s license and made several flights up and down the front range. Andrew then became a valet, displaying the same level of enthusiasm shown in previous careers. He worked at the Cherry Creek Mall for many years, advancing to a management position, then to the downtown Ritz Hotel, and to the Rockies Stadium. He was noted for his cheerfulness, courtesy and professionalism. Along the way he met and befriended many clients, including several prominent political and sports figures. Andrew’s primary pleasure in life was his two children. He taught them fishing in Twin Lakes and camping in numerous campgrounds. He taught them how to use a drone, an occulus, and a keyboard among other educational toys. He supported their successful schoolwork in every way. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
