Andrew "Andy" Phillips

Obituary Andrew W. "Andy" Phillips, age 65, of Fort Collins, CO passed away at his home, Tuesday, May 5, 2021. Andy was a Christmas gift, born on December 25, 1955 to Carlton and Lydia Langlitz Phillips. Raised on the family farm in Winneconne, WI, he attended Winneconne schools. In September of 1967, he moved with his parents to Fort Collins, CO, a place he later loved to call home. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed at a submarine base in Pearl Harbor. He later attended CSU in Fort Collins and graduated with a degree in Education/Industrial Arts. His employment with Anheuser-Busch put him through college, and he enjoyed working there, so he decided to stay. He loved his beautiful Colorado and enjoyed traveling, fishing and bowling. The last few years he also delighted in visiting his family in Denver as well as from Wisconsin when they came to visit. A bachelor, Andy is survived by his older brother Wesley, (Edith) in Wisconsin, along with his sons Derek & Aaron & families, as well as other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Theodore Ted, and his parents. Visitation from 10am-12pm, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Vessey Funeral Service, 8760 6th St., Wellington, CO 80549. A private family service will follow. Inurnment will be at Fort Logan Cemetery.
