Angel De La Cruz Hernandez
November 5th, 1992 - June 20th, 2020
Tribute Eulogy for Angel De La Cruz Hernandez Angel De La Cruz was born on November 5th, 1992 in Vera Cruz, Mexico to Dulce Hernandez and Guillermo De La Cruz. Angel spent a few years in Vera Cruz and then made his way to beautiful Colorado, with his family. Angel was a rambunctious child always getting into something a troublemaker at times but he always knew how to save his butt with just a few words. I am sure Dulce can remember hearing him say “mom mom It wasn’t me’’ with that little smile on his face that a mother couldn’t resist. Angel loved being outdoors, playing outside with his cousins was one of Angels favorite things to do. Angel enjoyed going to school in his early years and believe it or not got really good grades. Angel was known for being the funny kid in class. He was always doing something crazy or telling jokes to make his teachers and classmates laugh. Angel was always putting a smile on someone’s face and that wild, silly, jokester of a kid we knew grew into the funny man we remember today. Angel spent his teenage years doing what many teenagers did, went to school, hung out with friends spent a lot of time at the youth center, learning about life and in those years is when he got his nickname that many still know him by “420”. As many know Angel had to grow up quickly when he learned that he would be having his first child. Yaretzi a beautiful, fun loving, baby girl was born on April 5th, 2010. At the young age of 17 Angel fell in love and after a short time proposed to the one, he would soon marry. Angel and Bernadette exchanged vows on May 22nd, 2010 where not only did Angel adapt but took pride in being a husband and a father to not only his beautiful daughter Yaretzi but to Rigo. A wife, 2 kids and 5 years later the two decided to expand their family and on March 13th, 2015 baby Angel was born. Two years later Angels family grew yet again, and Angel welcomed his last-born son, Angels twin little Elijah who was born on October 21st, 2017. Angel Enjoyed working outside with his hands doing landscaping, concrete and spent some time working for the oil field. Anyone that knew Angel knew what a hardworking, supporting, loving husband & dad he was. He always took the extra length to ensure his family was taken care of and were happy. Angel enjoyed going to the mountains, playing monopoly, fishing, making music with his brothers, coaching his sons’ football and basketball teams and of course Angel still loved playing pranks and joking around with all his loved ones. As angel grew he found a burning passion for music that some of us didn’t always understand but his music brought him and many others great joy and took much pride in his songs. Angel as all of us did made mistakes, had hard times, made wrong choices but Angel was one of the most kind, loving, hardworking men that everyone couldn’t help to love. He was a good son, loving husband, faithful brother and most of all an extraordinary father. Angel was the definition of a pure soul with a beautiful heart. As we say our goodbyes today lets all take a moment to remember him as that silly jokester kid, that hardworking man that many of us respect, love and will never forget because of the compassion in his heart, his warm embrace and his beautiful smile!! Angel is survived by his wife Bernadette, his son Rigo, daughter Yaretzi, son Angel, and his son Elijah. Also survived by his parents Dulce his Father Guillermo 3 brothers Oscar, Guilbert and Albert. His grandparents Rutili Segura and Mary Paz Garcia, grandparents Jesus and Joyce Garcia and Two godchildren Fabian and Zarayah.
