Angela Kay Armstrong, 60, of Wimauma, Florida passed away on May 3, 2024, at the Lifepath Hospice House in Ruskin, Florida. Angela was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was raised in Tampa, Florida. Angela graduated from Bayshore Christian High School and later earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. Angela is survived by her husband Ted (Robert) Armstrong, daughter Skye Victoria Armstrong, parents Ramona Lanier and John Fetters, siblings Shelly Foster (husband Jim Foster) and Jason Fetters, and nephew Jonathan Foster. Angela was a strong spirited and loving person. She loved her family and friends dearly. Those that knew her closely will attest to this. Angela was also a huge animal lover. She had many pets over the years. These included two horses, one of which, Calgary’s Express, was moved all the way from California to Florida with Angela. Angela was also involved with pet rescues for golden retrievers and basset hounds, most of which became family members. In addition to horses and dogs, Angela also rescued, and adopted, pet cats, birds, and hermit crabs. One of Angela’s greatest achievements was graduating from college at the age of 40 years young. She never gave up on that goal and shared the moment with her then 2-year-old daughter, Skye, at graduation in 2004. Angela later became a Paralegal after working in the legal field for several years. Angela’s spirit, loving smile, and love for her family, friends, pets, and country will be remembered by all who knew her. Angela’s memorial service will be Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Sun City Center Funeral Home in Sun City Center, Florida. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made either to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, the Lifepath Hospice House in Ruskin, Florida, or the Moffitt Cancer Center.
